Virtual Montessori Teacher​

Qualifications

A primary (3-6), lower elementary (6-9) or upper elementary (9-12) diploma from a MACTE, AMI, or AMS accredited training centre
Must reside full-time in one of the following countries: the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, or Wales

Skills Required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently
Excellent written skills
Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills

Knowledge of how to use Zoom is an asset

Job Responsibilities

To plan and instruct virtual Montessori lessons for children with a warm and nurturing approach
To supervise the children at all times, ensuring a safe environment
To communicate with parents in an open and supportive manner through email
To demonstrate a sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Montessori curriculum and philosophy
To maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
