Numbers 1 to 10

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of numbers 1-10. This will be taught through Montessori materials and teaching methods. I will be introducing the children to numbers 1-10 by using hands-on materials that you will be able to print off at home! The children will be able to manipulate and match the concrete values, to their corresponding abstract values.

Place Value

$12 / 1 Day / Golden Beads

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of the place values of ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands. This will be taught through Montessori materials and teaching methods. I will be introducing the children to place values by using hands-on materials that you will be able to print off at home! The children will be able to manipulate and match the concrete values, to their corresponding abstract values.

Static and Dynamic Multiplication

$20 / 2 Days / Stamp Game

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of how to use the stamp game to solve static and dynamic multiplication problems. Static multiplication is what we call multiplication that does not require trading/carrying over. Whereas, dynamic multiplication is multiplication that does require trading/carrying over. The children will be introduced to the materials, then encouraged to try them by themselves, with me still there to help if they need it. The children then continue to practice the materials and what they learned in class, between classes.

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of numbers 11-19. This will be taught through Montessori materials and teaching methods. The children will be able to manipulate and match the concrete values, to their corresponding abstract values.

Static Addition

$20 / 2 Days / Stamp Game

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of how to use the stamp game to solve static addition problems. Static addition is what we call addition that does not require trading/carrying over. The children will be introduced to the materials, then encouraged to try them by themselves, with me still there to help if they need it. The children then continue to practice the materials and what they learned in class, between classes.

*FLEX* Static and Dynamic Addition
and Multiplication

$50 / 4 Weeks / Stamp Game

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of how to use the stamp game to solve static and dynamic addition and multiplication problems. Static equations are what we call it when we do not need to trade/carry over. Whereas, dynamic equations is what we call it when we do need to trade/carry over. Each week there will be a video lesson as well as a quiz afterward to ensure that the children understood the topic. Although this is a flex class and the videos are pre-recorded, the children are always encouraged to email the teacher if they have any questions.

Dynamic subtraction is what we call subtraction that requires trading/exchanging. The children will be introduced to the materials, then encouraged to try them by themselves, with me still there to help if they need it. The children then continue to practice the materials and what they learned in class, between classes.

Static division is what we call division that does not require exchanging. Whereas, dynamic division is division that does require exchanging. The children will be introduced to the materials, then encouraged to try them by themselves, with me still there to help if they need it. The children then continue to practice the materials and what they learned in class, between classes.

Identifying and Counting by 10s

$15 / 1 Day / Tens Boards

Children will form a concrete and abstract understanding of the tens numbers (10, 20, 30, etc). This will be taught through Montessori materials and teaching methods. I will be introducing the children to the tens numbers by using hands-on materials that you will be able to print off at home! The children will be able to manipulate and match the concrete values, to their corresponding abstract values.
